Radio Shack pro 163 questions

I went and got the usb cord and cd and now I have all the freq all saved on the software went to plug in the 20-546pc/if cord in the slot and came up with the (Clone mode press up to send remove cable to exit) so I pushed the up arrow and this is what it said (confirm to send data? 1 -> yes press other key for no) so I pushed #1 key and then (Clone Mode nor response remove cable) so mad I can't get this to work now what do I do...

I live in Oklahoma City and really want to use this scanner but I need big time help... very upset..

When you're doing an upload or download to computer (not cloning to another scanner) ignore what's on the screen - you send all the commands from the computer end.

I don't have that scanner, but the software probably has a "upload to scanner" in the menus - that's where you start the transfer.
