Currently, I am attempting to read the radio channels in my RS Pro 2052 receiver. I have installed all the software and drivers onto an old IBM Think Pad. Which is working fine. What would the baud rate be for the com and the PC to communicate? FrankXC

Butel from radioreference source. Thanks for the reply. FrankXC
Also, set up to bPS 19200. Will attempt a read. Also, Do I need to purchase a license agreement with this program? I am willing to pay just not sure where.

The only software I know - that is barely functional, due to all the changes here at RR since the program ceased development - is Scan Control. An email to find out whether that software is still being sold can't hurt, and won't cost anything...

A baud rate of almost 500 will be worth to utilize for sure! You can communicate without any disconnections, for more info!

i just used 2 different community made software today and the baud rate was 9600 if you go into your computers device manager and under COMM ports you will see the one not used by the system, and it should show under Propeties what the baud rate is

I just purchased Scan Control for a 2052 and it works pretty good. The demo version only lets you program Banks 1-3.
