Radio Terms/Definitions

Hi Everyone-

Im kind of new to the whole scanning/radio hobby and am starting to learn some of the terms that are used. I was curious if there was a website out there that provides definitions and/or descriptions of the terms commonly used and how the different types of radio networks work?

There is a Glossary on the NF2G Scannist Pages, although I haven't updated it in a while. It would be a good place to start.

Many terms are local or regional, or have multiple meanings depending on context.
