Call me ignorant

Jim,

What is that system, or what are they covering/providing? That's a new name to me.

I don't want to start the discussion again Doug, a previous thread regarding this has been closed by moderation because it got way off the radio discussion.

Suffice it to say it's a special gathering occuring in Northern Routt County in early July and should create an excellent monitoring event.

That's fine, it was just a 'system name' I don't remember seeing before.
Thread finished. :->
Thank you, Jim.

Are any of these going to be online? I'd be interested to see how it all works out.

There should be some activity on US Forrest Service frequencies. I read something about them denying the group a permit for their event. I am sure that will not stop some of them.

I kinda wondered...

Anyway, Dept. of the Interior, BLM and US Forest Sevice freqs should be busy when that event gets underway. Fed VHF-Hi, UHF and Aero should all have activity on them in addition to the DTRS.
