Range on Niagara Fire

Band is smokin open tonight!

Just wondering if anyone in the Niagara area can tell me what kind of range is normally on the Niagara on the Lake fire dept. (150.755)...I just heard a vehicle fire on the Toronto bound QEW loud and clear up in the Kawartha Lakes.

I'm assuming I should attribute that to the open band....

Yup! The band is smoking tonight for sure. I just logged KX194 on 162.425, which is a NOAA weather station from Angola Indiana. I'm also hearing a lot of PDs on the 155 MHz band that I've never heard before......

I'm at HWY 9 and HWY 50 which is about 15 min east of Orangeville.
