Yesterday evening I got a good decode on the CC on 217.79375, it is Region 3, Site 2 Color Code 0, no traffic at the time so I was unable to find the other freqs.

REC is TAIT TIII, maybe your 436 has a problem with it being TAIT. I did find this about other folks having trouble with different flavors of TIII --

217.51875 has got to be Linden Mtn since it is as strong as Berryville for me.
217.66875 is most likely Hogback Mtn since it is the next closest.

I agree that 217.51875 is Linden Mtn, 217.66875 doesn't show up at all from my location, VA STARS site 1.8 booms in here for me but that certainly doesn't eliminate Hogback Mtn. The only other CC I can see and decode from time to time is 217.79375, Region 3, Site 2 Color Code 0.
