I have found instructions for the FMP program but not a place to download it.
Check your Windows folder where you installed DSDPlus in, the highlighted one in the screenshot is the FMP program -

BM82557 I tried opening the FMP program and a CMD line box opened up with the following error message bellow in it. The cmd line window doesn't even stay open long enough to screen capture it. I had to capture the picture on my cell phone and hand transfer the text to Windows wordpad. I also am having a problem with the cell phone connection to the laptop. The USB driver is not setting up right. That is a different problem, not connected to the RTL dongles.

Also info on the FMP program is in the FMP text file (see screenshot two posts above)
An example of what I use for my local system is FMP 4 2 28 452.8750
When you create a shortcut, it already has the correct drive/path/exename; you only need to append the four numbers:BM82557 I read everything at http://forums.radioreference.com/vo...re/312886-dsd-plus-1-071-fmp.html#post2386527 I understand what has to go into the FMP shortcut target line. But I am not sure of the exact syntax of the target line.
Tune to a known active frequency (like NOAA); adjust PPM until you're centered. Easy peasy. Honest...Also I don't know the PPM correction value for my dongle or how to find it. Again to me this type of SDR software is so new to me. it is like tiptoeing through an Alligator Farm full of sleeping alligators.![]()

- audio out device
- dongle number
- PPM
- MHz

Don't know why you're leaving out the audio device and dongle numbers. Try FMP 1 1 50 455.35So after the exe something like /50 45535? PPM is set at +50. There was a QSO on the local repeater. I used that to set the PPM. I am slowly getting the hang of these SDR dongles
