In the article on another thread regarding the site trunking problem in Cache this week it was mentioned that a new site at Red Spur went live. Would this site cover the extreme northern part of the county up near the Idaho border since it's actually in Rich County? Anyone heard a new data channel?

Also has Rich County officially gone to 800 or are they running their main talkgroup through a patch with their old radios like it appears that Box Elder is still doing?

Any new TGs for Brigham, Tremonton, SO, etc confirmed?

Making a trip North shortly and wanted to update my rig before I head up
Thanks.

As of a couple of weeks ago when I was in Randolph the Red Spur site was not on the air, but that may have changed. Rich has a limited number of 800 radios.

They have patched the Lake Town VHF repeater in to the law channel, but are having problems with the Crawford site because the output frequency for Lake Town, and Crawford are the same frequency, and it created problems when they tired to patch Crawford in. There's been talk of changing frequencies on Crawford so it can be patched, but it has not happened yet.

You will want to leave the VHF frequencies in for Rich for a while.
