Redding Radio System Updates

The last update I heard about the new Redding radio system was that they were in the process of finding a new transmitter site since the rent on the DPS tower was going to be $24000 dollars and they made a deal for $1 a year to use a Ridgefield tower. Does anybody know what tower this is since the only one I can think of is at the Ridgefield PD headquarters? Also does anybody know what the new frequencies are going to be and what type of radios they went with?

Last time I was in that town it came up encrypted so are they back in the clear

While doing some research today I may have come across the potential new VHF-hi frequencies that the Redding FDs May be transitioning to over the next 4-5 months.

The highway department transitioned from 156.165 to 151.5200 which leaves the 156.165 frequency open and looks like they added some other frequencies as well to the license.
