Remote Head - error in the manual?

Well, I finally got my remote head back from Uniden service and now it works!
It would not recognize a radio when connected, and they replaced part L103, if that means anything to anyone.

It says in the manual that the rear serial port will not work except for GPS when using the remote head on the 996. BUT, I am sitting here using the remote head with the rear serial port plugged into my computer running Scan Control at the same time and it works fine with all functions enabled.

I don't know if only USAD does not work when connected, or maybe the latest firmware changed it, or maybe they just made a mistake in the RH manual Page 24.

It says : Other than connecting a GPS, the front and the back cannot be used or connected at the same time when the BC-RH96 is in use.

Are you using BOTH of the front and the back connectors at the same time ??

YES, that is exactly what I am saying. Front port to the RH, rear port to the laptop with Scan Control working at the same time as the RH
