Doubtful you'll get help on purchasing a piece of equipment of that grade and price on a hobbyist board, but I wish you luck.

Ham friend of mine in Virginia has an expensive Harris Receiver & uses it with his Ten-Tec Orion transceiver...a nice combo for a ham station station...

They show up on the surplus market from time to time. Ham radio operators are said to prize them. I don't think Harris makes them now do they? I thought they moved on to another series of Falcon 2 or 3 radios or something. I may be thinking of something different. If it's the model I'm thinking of you may want to check the various surplus outlets that handle high end gear. Toronto surplus sometimes has Harris gear. Might want to give them a look.
