I love the BC15 and BC15x on the mil air band. I currently use 5. One of which is in my truck with an RH96 to save room. I want to add another but space is at a premium.
Hey Iniden, how about putting the RH96 back in production?

Uniden’s pricing for the RH96 was out of reach for most. And UNIDEN didn’t sell enough of them to be profitable.
I purchased the RH96 and still have it but my four objections to it were (and still are) price, physical size of the housing, compatibility and the size of the display window which was merely a duplicate of what was in the scanner to begin with. Uniden also did not support the discontinued RH96 in all scanners going forward which I found strange. So when I upgraded my scanners I found myself retiring the RH96 to the junk drawer, thinking it might increase in resale price where I could recoup my cash outlay for it. It’s currently buried in my storage at the bottom of a pile of other junk that’s still viable but outdated.

If Uniden were to put it back into production I would imagine the price would be even more than what was originally charged. So my guess is we won’t be seeing uniden getting back into the remote head business anytime soon. There’s also other ways to skin that cat with aftermarket displays and software programs.

Nice concept but oh well...
