Can anyone indicate whether a standard or reverse wired RJ-11/RJ-14 cable is required for use with the GPS on the SDS-200? The included 6ft cable isn't enough for my application any longer.

Thanks!

Make sure it's a four wire cable. Some of the cheaper cables, like the ones that come with cheap phones, are only two wire. The GPS needs the extra wires to power it.

Guess how I know.

Does length make any difference? I'm currently using the "pig-tailed" handset cord about 20'. The GPS unit seems to be working ok.
