Will be driving thru Georgia on I95 from Charleston SC on the way to Tampa. I'm looking for the system the GHP or State Police use. I'm using a SDS100 but no GPS.

GSP, not GHP...GSP uses a variety of P25 VHF repeaters throughout the state, all of are in the RR database. They also use various 700/800 trunked radio systems around the state. In Metro Atlanta, they primarily use the CoA 800 system, and are fully encrypted thanks to ball washing "facebook news" whackers so you won't hear them in downtown ATL.

To monitor GSP in that area, you'll need to program SEGARRN into your scanner. Maybe some VHF freqs also.
