I have a pro-106 digital scanner and live in Roane co. I can't get any traffic from the roane county side using the freq. provided,I have tried the p25 auto and put in motorola. Do they have it blocked?. I am new to the digital scanner

It should be programmed as P25 AUTO.

Have you programmed in any talk groups?

It's at P25 auto, I can get surrounding counties( KNOX), I'm up for any suggestions. Is there someone in Roane county that has any knowledge of this problem that i have.

I went to the site that Radioshack provided ( RadioReference.com)when I got it. I have downloaded all frequencies from that site. 1. Roane co (talkgr).2 Anderson Co(talkgr).3 Clinton(conv),4.Knox Co.(talkgr)5.Roane Co.(conv).6Cumberland co.(conv),7.National Guard in Maryville 8.Blount Co.(Conv) 9.Morgan Co. (Conv) 10.Sevier Co.11. Loudon Co(conv) 12.Rhea(conv).I can her Blount Co. like there at my front door.

Roane county

The control channels mainly used for Roane county are 769.08125 and 769.35625. Enter each of those control channels as a separate system. My uniden does control channel mode automatically for P25 trunked systems, but I have to turn on control channel only mode manually for 800MHz systems. In Knoxville area I can pickup the 769.35625 site daily and as I get closer to Roane county I can pickup 769.08125. Hope this helps!

Using Pro 106 I heard Roane Co loud and clear from east side of Knoxville to just inside Cumberland county along I-40. I used the cc's mentioned in RR list for Roane and surrounding counties and set it to roam.

I'm still at a loss on my Pro-106, it's take it back or have some one locally( Roane Co.) help. I will be willing to meet someone to get this thing working. Please help.

You could also go to youtube to see people giving demos on programming scanners. I live in Roane County and plan on buying a Pro-106 myself. After i get mine, i'll try to get mine going and post here afterwards.
