Rockaway Twp-Morris County

It happened a while ago. The local paper had the article about it, due to low manpower levels during daytime.

St. Clare's and it covers a portion of Rockaway (near the mall, I believe).

I think Towns will start doing this more and more..

Its St. Claires. They have the EMS 80 numbers.. I.e. EMS 81 at Mountain Creek. EMS 82 I believe is wharton, EMS 83 is Mt. Arlington, EMS 84 cant remember and EMS 85 is Rockaway Township and I believe the hours are 6a to 6p.

I think a lot of the busy towns need to do this more and more during the day. I tell ya my town in Sussex County needs to do it big time cause its crazy patients have to wait 30 minutes and alot of times even more for an ambulance...

Where I work in North Arlington we went paid Muni during the day about 15 years ago.
I think if a town is going to do it work towards the Muni based civil service system.
Squad based systems IMO do not and can not work Nutley and Parsippany are some
examples of this.

They cover the entire township from 6a-6p mon-fri. It's a one year working test period for the township to see if St. Clares does a good job.
