Was at the Jays game yesterday and noted the following new talkgroups and changes:

285 - Janitorial
286 - Janitorial
293 - Beer Concessions
299 - Security Left Field (The kid sitting on the stool down the left field line was talking on this talkgroup. It might be a fair guess that 298 would be for Right Field.
300 - Security 200's Level
303 - Security 500's Level

Unknowns: 276, 281 and 284.

Also heard a few medical events happening, and the responding medics were using the above security talkgroups. I was also trying to see if the TPS officers roaming around were carrying EDACS radios as well, but I couldnt really tell.

Glad I wasn't the only geek with a scanner at the game:

266 Engineering (already in db)
273 Facility Security (doors)
277 Tours
281 VIP Boxes (300/400's)
284 Admission Staff - Gates
285 Facilities (Janitorial)
286 Concourse Ops (food/beer stands)
293 Food Warehouse
297 Unknown
298 Security (field and outside)
299 Security 100's
300 Security 200's
301 Security Office
303 Security 500's

The TPS guys were carrying Ericsson radios. I heard a call on 301 for a suspicious package outside one of the gates and the call went out to an ETF unit on 299.

285 was referred to as Facilities and seemed to be the cleaning crew. Lots of calls on 286 from the beer stands for people not served due to intoxication.

It's a pretty busy system to monitor eh? I heard the suspicious package call as well but was (since I forgot my headphones) was having a tough time hearing the scanner. Not to mention I was surrounded by crazy Tiger fans who almost wet themselves with glee when Ryan blew the game in the 9th. I was hoping to do a little listening from outside the stadium, but the signal is practically gone once you leave the facility.

Sounds like an interesting system to listen to. To bad we can't hear them once you walk 5 feet out the gate. So what you're saying is, TPS and EMS have different radios than their own when at the RC ? Are they given these radios by the RC when they arrive for an event ?

Well, at the ACC, pay-duties are given their MTX838 B3 radios on channel 14 (last time I checked.)
