I thought that this would be a good idea... if we had an overall roll call, to see how much of the country is covered by scanners. i know these are in a lot of the state forums, but since this is one of the most viewed forums, i though more people would respond. Moderators, please make this one a sticky.
Just say where you listen , what you listen to, and if you want, your setup.

I'm here in st.johns county, Florida. I scan the local fire rescue and city FD with my rs pro-95. I sometimes scan the local PD, but only when there is a big incident because their 10 codes are annoying to me. I have all the FRS, GMRS, and AAR frequencies in my scanner, and sometimes monitor those. I visit the south Chicago suburbs every summer, and monitor their local frequencies, as well as the Chicago PD and FD. I like to listen to the local Ham repeater (St.johns county ARES) at night when they usually sign on. I also listen to just some misc. frequencies from animal control to just a good skip and ducting frequency somebody tells me about.
