Have RS Pro 96, trying to get frequencys for Roseville, East Point and St Clair Shores. Brought win96 to program. Tried downloading for rr database, shows 185 freq. for Macomb county, none of the city's aboved were in the list. I did find the talk groups for the city's above. I apologize in advance, if I used the forum incorrectly.

Hi. I'm not sure what you mean by 185 frequencies. The only information you need to scan the cities in question are the TG listed above and the control channel frequencies listed for the Macomb county simulcast system (site 219) on the MPSCS

http://www.radioreference.com/modules.php?name=RR&sid=100

Most of Macomb county is switching to the state system, which is an APCO-25 system. I use unidens, so I'm unsure on how to program the RS 96. Someone else will need to help you with that.

Hope this helps.

Xstrat1956:
You need a little primer on how to scan a trunked system.
Enter 868.9875 into your scanner. This is the control frequency for Macomb Simulcast. Follow the link that firephotographer50 posted and scroll down to Macomb Simulcast on that page.
Just enter that ONE control channel frequency for now, into bank one or two of your PRO-96.
After you get that ONE frequency programmed in your PRO-96, hit scan. Only scan the bank that the ONE freq is in. You'll start to see all sorts of talkgroups displayed. Those are the four or five digit numbers you see on your scanner when someone is talking.
Now see the numbers that wjf posted a few messages back?

Your welcome. I'm not just a pretty face around here. I do serve a useful function.
