Hi All;

I am programming my PSR500 with ARC 500 and it is working well with the exception of a rebanded system that I can not seem to get working. I am trying to program the City of Roseville, CA trunk into the scanner without success. I am importing it from Radio Reference, but it appears I need to do something beyond the normal importing process, as I can receive nothing on their system. I am not far from Roseville, but I can't receive them from my house. I even took the scanner with me to Roseville a couple of days ago, and I received nothing. Does anyone have a fix for what I am doing incorrectly?

Thanks.

Hey Dustin. Thanks much, but I actually got it dialed in. Apparently I had all the frequencies programmed in, but only needed the control channels. I eliminated the other frequencies and it works fine now. Thanks for the offer.

Roseville Trunk

I tried using the freqs listed on radio reference for the city of roseville trunk system. I am starting to think they might have changed things. anyone have any suggestions as to how I can begin receiving the roseville system? thanks iin advance...

hrm you should be able to get it. my 246T picks up the Roseville system just fine. Of course I am within about a block and a half from the PD(which houses the system radio tower).

Here are the freqs I have:
851.2375
851.5750
851.7250
851.8750
852.0500
852.1250
852.3750
852.8250
853.0500
853.3500
853.5500
Btw side note the control channel changes every couple of hours. Maybe that's your problem? could have your scanner hard coded into a single freq control channel. On Unidens there is an option called set C-Ch only which needs to be off. I'm sure your's has a similar option.

Other info I have which may or may not be necessary is as follows:
Custom band plans are set as such:
First band plan:
lower freq: 851.0250
upper freq: 854.0000
offset: 440
spacing: 25.0 KHz
Second Band Plan:
lower freq: 851.0125
upper freq: 868.9875
offset: 0
spacing: 25.0 KHz

Hope this helps :)
