Thanks for the suggestion. I am also a member of pro94owners group.
The basic differences in the 94 models are:
94 has no PC interface
94A has a PC interface (logic board made by Uniden)
94B has a PC interface too (logic board updated by Uniden)
I sent an email to Uniden Service Center in attempt to locat a schemtic of the PC/IF portion of the logic board.
After that ... one scanner will have to go to Radio Shack Service center. And, at $49 minimum labor ... it's going to get expensive. My cut off is $100. Because, the $100 plus what I purchased the scanner for is faily close in what a new PRO-94B cost.
