RS Glass Mount 20-011 Antenna help

Could you use this antenna at home? Mounting it to a window by your scanner? I'm thinking of mounting it inside to a window because if it was mounted outside of window I would either need to drill a hole or put the cable through the window but then it would'nt close fully. Will it receive the same inside as outside of window? I'm thinking of using this antenna for VHF and UHF.

Should work fine, just as long as no metallic surfaces exist on either side of the glass. Clean both sides thoroughly and allow to air dry. This will ensure proper adhesion. Best of luck,
