R8500 RT systems - Scanning Capabilities?

Does RT systems software provide scanning control functions on the 8500 or is this simply for programming the radio?

Looking at their website it appears to be for programming, not computer remote control of the radio's scanning functions.

I have several RT Systems programs and they all input information related to transmit and receive only. That's the most tedious part of using the radio and I'm happy with it.
