I'm curious about running multiple P25RX-II on the same PC concurrently. Is it simply a matter of running two instances of the software? Is there a particular startup procedure that allows them to coexist?

Yes. There are many of us running multiple instances of the software with multiple receivers. When the software starts, it looks for the first available device and uses the MAC ID as a way to keep files/configuration separate.

Mostly to avoid confusion, I duplicate the application file name and change or add 1 character. I run 2 receivers with 2 instances of the software that way.

Same here, two P25rx, feeding two Virtual Audio Cables, then feeding two instances of Scannerfeed to get to two Broadcastify feeds. Some configuring when they are firat started as the proper VAC to BC feeds has to be configured but minimal and simple.
