Okay that explains it. I think the bands were open up certain nights while I was there.
Once you get up into the North Woods, signals abound - and can play games with your thought processing.
Heck we hear a Southern Maine signal into Carroll (not County) / Twin Mountain on a regular basic in NH and that is from the Hotel, no outside antennas

Once awhile here at my place I'll get 100-250 miles not using a outside antenna just a inside antenna. I brought one small travel antenna and put it out by the window when I was up in rutland area.

The majority of the public safety frequencies are in the database.

Has anyone else picked up on 460.065 754DCS? It broadcasted last night for Pittsford FD right after the 158.7750 transmission. I don't see this in FCC search or obviously the database yet.

460.065 isn't a valid frequency, which is why you're not finding it.
460.0625 in Rutland County is here. (WQQG248)

Those UHF are possibly Downlinks from a Remote RX of the VHF system or actual Repeaters passing along audio similar to a downlink
FCC shows FB2 as a Repeater, but... who knows

Put them all in, see what you get, while also listening to the VHF channels.

Can confirm the 460.0625 is being utilized with DCS 754. Coming in after the tone-out from dispatch on 154.2500. Plugged it in and it’s been a strong signal all day.
