The DB shows only two of these freqs as control channels, and I don't see the other two (.5375 & .7375) in there at all. Are these two new freqs that I should program in?gmclam said:That's a loaded question. The Sacramento TRS has two main sites; those control frequencies are:

I didn't use the DB here. I took that data from my testing with UniTrunker. I have all TRS frequencies programmed. Checking my personal scanners; I definitely have control channel data from time to time on 868.5375 and 868.7375.sonticus said:The DB shows only two of these freqs as control channels, and I don't see the other two (.5375 & .7375) in there at all. The basics: GOLD channel is north of the American River in Sacramento County. BLACK channel is south of the American River & Yolo county. GREEN channel is western Placer & El Dorado counties. The mobiles are not repeated. You'll need to program both frequencies in order to hear both sides of the conversation. You will also need a GOOD outside antenna for low band to pick up mobiles.amsatnetg said:Where can I find the most updated information on the sacramento area chp? Correct.roma said:I just got a Pro-97. I've programmed just the control channels from both site 1 and 2 into one bank (bank 2). (As I understand it, that's all I need to do to get trunking.)
That's because you have the channels set to "FM" and they need to be set to "MO".When I scan -- either in open or closed -- it stops on the control channels and makes the buzzsaw noise. So I tried something else. I entered ALL of the freqs from site 2 in bank 3. Again, same thing.
