I have programmed East Aurora, Lackawanna, BNIA CFR, Canisius College, UB PD's on the Seneca One Tower
Will I have any problems receiving all of them on one site?

If those tg's traffik are carried on (affiliate to) that site, then no problem.

They are not locked to one site. They can roam from site to site depending on RSSI. I would guess they spend most of their time on the East Aurora site which is right at their townhall.

I assumed that also, If it was just that simple....Might have to take a ride, maybe 10mi NW from it is too far?

You can. Hold on each site and see if you hear them. If you do, move onto the next site. They could be on all sites or they could only affiliate with certain sites. Depends how it was set up.

I'm in South Cheektowaga, I can pick up a lot of saianet sites, but almost nothing off East Aurora, Lancaster or Highmark sites, I have a sds100, a trx-2 and a ws1080 scanner...I have a new antenna coming this weekend so maybe that will make a difference but I can receive Niagara county, Dunkirk and Jamestown with what I use now...but not East aurora.

east aurora site is not very powerful. I can pick it up in south cheektowaga with my antenna. I have a omni-x and also have a remtronix 800 mhz antenna next to hit. they are hooked up to a combiner. Just the omni-x does not seem to pick up east aurora but when i combine the two antennas i can pick it up

What model combiner are you using?

i just have cable to sma adapter attached to each cable. Then i used a 2 in 1 out sma combiner cable.

I believe something like that will just split the signal unlike a coupler/combiner that's made for rf and will give zero signal loss. Your also using a wideband antenna with an antenna tuned for 800mhz. Proper way for that is to use a diplexer.

if i remove the conntector with the 800 mhz antenna and just use omnix then east aurora does not come in. When i add it to the combiner the signal is there. Likewise with genesee county 800 mhz system. With just the omni antenna the signal is -90 when i combine it to the 800 mhz antenna is get stronger at -79. Seems to be combining it and working for what i need.

Went for dinner in East Aurora tonight with my sds100....2 scanlist on, one with all the sites within 30mi and the other with just the East Aurora site...for the 30 min I was toying with it...I only got EAPD on the East Aurora site. I now know I have to dial in that site.

Yup when they are strictly in the village and pretty much have their own site right there they are going to tag off of it every time. That site appears to not be very powerful so it becomes difficult to pickup compared to other saia sites

yup. i am amazed my omni x does not pick it up but the little remtronix i have zip tied to my mast picks it up
