Saline County

I can't pick up saline county sheriff. Has anyone gotten it to work yet. I have the bcd996p2 and programmed using Proscan and radioreference database.

Do you have the DMR upgrade for your scanner? The database shows the sheriff using both analog and DMR:

Yes I have the dmr upgrade. Every once in awhile it picks something up but it's all jumbled and can't understand what they are saying.

It could possibly be encrypted. If it is, the Mode should show DMRE in the database, but maybe it has not been updated. Try setting it up as a conventional frequency, audio type Digital Only, code option Search. That will eliminate any chance of a programming error in the database. You should see color code 1 when receiving a transmission. If it is encrypted, you will hear unintelligible audio. Hopefully, one of the locals will jump in. I am just a little too far away to check it myself.
