Hey all.....

Any pointers on where to go for info on the Salt Palace? If i recall correctly, there were a few licenses for their building maintenance contractor, SMG.........and nothng else. I know this is a County facility.......so I'll start there, but any help is appreciated!

I am starting to believe that some of thier comms are on the Salt Lake County Public Works Trunk System (420F).

Several of the Talkgroups are used by the SL Co Arts, and I've heard comms that make belive that a couple TG's are used by the Salt Palace (TG3504=ID'ed as Ch4, TG3568). Not positive, but maybe.

Maybe the maintenance goons, but from what i have witnessed there, not likely that anyone but them is on 420F--most of them carry Moto GP300s or HT1250s (Conventional UHF radios both)

Back before trnking and such, (1980's) I used to attend hockey games at the Salt Palace.
Their security was in the 453 band then, but I have lost all records of the freqs.

I've gotten close call hits in the area on 453.55 186.2pl. That is covered by license WNSH265. Other frequencies under that license are:
453.1625
453.1875
453.3125
453.3625.

Way back in 1994 this was what the Salt Palace used:
