San Jacinto County 800Mhz Testing

Heard San Jacinto County SO testing patch to 800mhz system this afternoon. Since there is no 800mhz tower that I am aware of in San Jacinto Co, I checked the Polk Co Livingston tower and heard San Jac SO clear as a bell, both Dispatch and Patrol Units.

Loaded all the San Jac TGIDs from RR in the Livingston site, and will keep folks informed of progress.

I can confirm that San Jacinto Co SO Dispatch has been patched from 154.845 to TxWarn TGID 2238.

San Jacinto Co. So Ops 1 is active on TxWarn TGID 1744 (patched from 155.520 currently being used by technicians performing the work)

They let 155.520 expire a while back, but that seems to happen a lot in rural areas.

Probably because of switching to TxWARN

I wonder if Polk county will join TXWARN ?

From what I understand from talking to one of the county commissioners they will eventually join TxWARN, but he wasn't sure of a timeline. They already have the tower up, and another planned for the Corrigan area. As always depends on the budget.
