The last time I monitored the DeAnza freq was during a power outage at my house last Spring. It was in use at that time.
It is a simplex channel without a repeater, so the signals weren't all that strong. The traffic is also very light. Just a few discussions on where to find certain disconnects, and a switching order now and then.
