Good afternoon,

This morning, I was receiving Moreau EMS and Gansevoort Fire being dispatched to a stroke call on 151.0025 pl 146.2. Unfortunately, this is the same freq/PL as the fire department we dispatch for. I was unable to locate anything on the FCC's website, nor anything here, and was curious to see if anyone knew of, perhaps, a local transmitter to either of these agencies that isn't transparent here.

I have already contacted Saratoga County's Director of Emergency Services and they will take a look on their end, however, nothing stood out right off the bat.

The only other thing I can think of is perhaps 151.0025 146.2 is somewhere ELSE and hearing 155.925 (Saratoga's primary dispatch freq) or another local tx similar to the old days of Washington County's 46.26 being heard by Westchester's and being re-broadcast out over their plethora of UHF simulcasts/crosses, etc.

Any input would be greatly appreciated... fingers crossed this is only the case due to how WIDE open VHF was earlier.

Saratoga's output is the same and Englewood's input. Not too surprising this happens this time of year, especially with a hurricane coming through. Just a little enhanced propagation.

Under normal circumstances, I'd entertain this, but they are talking OUT on 123.0 and we are definitely not talking IN on that.

Unless they changed PL tones for some reason, and this would be a very strange and disruptive process, it is HIGHLY unlikely this is a malfunction on Saratoga's part. I am confident they are on a MLC simulcast configuration, you can't really screw that up. You also cannot mistakenly output to PL tones without really screwing up the simulcast.

It is much more likely that there is a mistake in Englewood repeater programming, unlike in a portable or mobile, a repeater can be configured in multiple ways for squelch operation, including multiple PLs. It is very easy to miss a setting. A simple test, program a radio locally and check.

Would not be the first time a technician left a Repeater RX in CSQ mode vs PL/DPL
