Hi everyone

I got a question for you guys. When I first received my bc396xt I was picking up wps and the rcmp dispatch on site 73 and site 12. Now I did a search last night and found that the dinsmore site was up in weyburn and site 73 and 12 were down. Do they change the control changes on a regularly or is there trouble with the tower in the weyburn area

Tower control channel's are not changed on a "regular" basis. Best bet is that there is either scheduled maintenance at the Weyburn site -which is a very good possibility- or some form of mechanical/technical difficulty. I'm leaning towards maintenance or planned downtime.

Thanks mobile1 I programmed my !c396xt through arcsoft with the radio reference data base. Does the scan now more in depth???

You have the best software now for you BC396XT and you got all the channels and TGs loaded from the data base so your radio should just trunk the next site control channel when they move it. Is your Uniden set for multi-site ? It should be checking all the CCs all the time and never stop trunking the system.
