Anybody know the best way to save threads ? I get a lot of good info on this site and would like to make a favorite folder to save all the threads that I can use at a later date instead of doing a search for the topic.
Thanks Keith

Your master site
I used to save it using the HTML or the HTML archive format and it never worked flawlessly. So I switched to printing them all to PDF format. You can do this for free with CutePDF. The fullblown Adobe Acrobat isn't needed.

ETA: Woops, yes, I meant Cute PDF and NOT FTP.

How about an easy way to save threads with multiple pages?

If you click the reply button, you can save it as I said above. Of course it will save it with a reply box open at the top, so it looks sorta dumb :lol:

That still will not show the whole thread, it only shows the last 20 posts.

For saving the forum pages, you can simplify them for archving by clicking the:

Thread Tools-->Show Printable Version

Then I click the link at the top of the page: Show 50 posts from this thread on one page

This is a useful thread and I would also like to save others as well. I tried the Thread tools> show printable version ( did not see "show 50 posts... button, maybe cuz there isn't 50), then File>Save As (pick or create folder where to save), then pick .txt format, and save. Checked on file... nice plain text, easy print...and bonus: the thread number (to make future search real easy) is right at top of page!

Tried again, do not see page numbers nor button----nothing in upper right at all?

Find a thread with more then 50 posts and you should see this at the top
