Today I noticed that Comm Center is patching to yellow in the Barstow Area. Thunderstorms in the area knocked down SBCO system 2. That was cool because i had it programmed on my HT1000.

The only Yellow 154.070 that Comm Center has anymore is Rodman Mtn - (sort of close to Barstow)

What happened to the Yellow transmitters on Flash II, Yucca Valley, Donnell Hill (29P) and the repeater in Trona?

Not sure when Flash went away but it was confirmed "gone" when Barstow transitioned over. Yucca (Paxton) was 151.145 from 1998 to this year (now is County 4), Donnell was Yellow until now (County 4), and Trona went away in about 2000 (800mhz only until this year - now has a County 3 rpt at the SBSD).

Interesting... So much has changed. When i was there, Desert Yellow and the Trona Yellow Rptr were the fire channels I kept in my SBSD radio to be able to talk to Comm Center (I still had VHF in my unit in addition to the 800). I likely wouldn't recognize the radio system down there anymore. Thanks for the info!!
