Scanner Dealers?

Hi all;

I'm trying to find out if there's a scanner dealer in the Buffalo NY area, or within a few hours driving time. I can't seem to find anything online.

There's a dealer in Albany called Scannerworld. How ever I have never done business with them

I have gotten a few scanners from them. I thought they were great. Called them about 2 in the afternoon and had my scanner the next day. They were nice on the phone. I live in Ulster County and would buy from them again in a heartbeat........Ray

I second that. I live in Albany and bought my 396 there a few months ago. Walked in off the street and walked out with my scanner 15 minutes later.

I got my 996 and one of my 396s there, too.

Albany is about 5 hours from Buffalo, though. There really aren't any "scanner dealers" in New York State any more except ScannerWorld. You're stuck with Radio Shack. Might as well buy online - there are many quality dealers elsewhere.

Scanner Dealers

First of all I would not purchase anything from Scanner World if I were you. There customer service is very poor. I had a very bad experience with them and they treated me like crap, and basically told me that all I was was business to them so it's all about the money. I'am not willing to get into all the details of what happened but lets just say they dont care about the customer at all, all they want to see is the money. If you are looking to purchase a scanner please let me recommend a good website with outstanding customer service.

I would reccomend Lentinni Communications in Connecticut. I have always had good luck dealing with them and as long as I call before 4PM , I have my order the very next day here in NY.

Hey Exkalibur...what is this "thing" that you can't seem to find on line? Is it Scanner Dealerships or just a Scanner? If we knew what you were looking for, maybe then we could help.

You can give these guys a shout ,if they don't have it in stock , they can order it so it will be there when you pick it up.
