Ah I miss the 396XT. Such a great and very pocketable receiver. The pinnacle of mall scanning back in 2012, just stuff it in your coat with earbuds.
My favorite to use as a scanner stand in those cheap stamped metal end stands for book/DVD shelves. My local library often has many empty sitting so I’ll commandeer one while reading at the tables by the window overlooking the nearby shopping strip and hospital.

Don't think I would use metal for a stand for listening. If just a holder should be fine though.

R & L Electronics has some made of wood which are designed for 3 or 6 handhelds. Easy to paint whatever color you want.

Yes, the wooden one.
These Lucrave phone stands work OK for the BC125AT case format scanners (SR30C, 75XLT, 125XLT, etc.
Although the scanner base does not fit inside the lower support arms the base rests on top of them and the little battery case raised feet lock behind the upturned support.
Lovely Rose Gold is the cheapest.
