scanning elkton

hello looking at the database it shows that you cannot scan the elkton area for police or i guess anything is this true i have the 996t , says they have a system that no scanner can monitor any help

There's no help to give, sadly. For a change, at least, whoever told you that is correct. It seems the town is still using conventional freqs, but the TRS is utterly unusable.

Elkton PD is not scannable, however Cecil County Fire/EMS can be scanned using Teamspeak through Broadcast Incident Network. Dispatch channel as well as fire/ems ops channels are streamed.

If you don't want to be bothered with online dispatch thru Teamspeak and are mobile in the area you can monitor Fire dispatch on repeater 155.5275.

Also some MSP/Cecil Sheriff's can be heard sometimes on 39.840 FM.
Local mutual aid for Aerial Med-Evac etc can also be heard on 46.180
