scanning

im a new user with a uniden bcd 396xt, i had it programmed to scan emergency services.when i first had it done it was scanning them all.now its not,how do i fix it to scan them all again

Info needed:
1) Where are you located, this helps others help you and can look in the database of freqs.
2) Is it trunked or conventional freqs you are monitoring.

That depends on why it isn't scanning them now. Did you do anything, play with any of the settings, etc before it stopped scanning them?

i might have,ive been scanning police and fire dept .the one that is not scanning is the york region ems.its still in there but its skipping it.im using a bcd 396 xt .i live in newmarket.ontario.any help is appreciated im completely new to all this

Double check that you haven't locked out the systems it isn't scanning. If they aren't locked out then download FreeScan from ScanNow.org - The Home of FreeSCAN! and, using the database here, enter the info again. You will need the programing cable for the scanner.
