1745 Just came across them on Site 146 Hall Mountain here in Ventura. TG 12219 isn't in the Db.

Two guys were discussing actions one of them should take to try to solve a computer problem. It sounded like they were office types.

Not having any connection to SCE I have no way to determine who they were. I’ll try to listen tomorrow during business hours. I have a feeling it’s a rarely used TG.

Hopefully enough info can be gathered to add 12219 to the Db.

I've heard TG 12219 on sites 98 and 104 back to at least June 2021 (maybe earlier). No idea about the purpose, though.

I'm not aware of a specific site per se, I believe those tg's are for peaker power operations. It's those pesky remote power units (generators) that can be fired up at specific substations when the grid is impacted.

Credit to our friends at Google:
Peaker plants are smaller power plants — often 50 MW or less — and are often used to balance high demand on the grid and are usually the last plants to be dispatched. These peakers are being called on more often to balance out the variability caused by the increased use of clean energy sources.

Db has been updated with these peaker plant TGs.

Looking at old notes, the below SCE TGs have been noted active, but specific usage has not been confirmed. If anyone knows, please chime in.
Thanks!
