I have been hearing Schodack PD use 166.25 for the last few days. I hadn't head them on this channel before, but it appears it is licensed to The Town of Schodack. Any info?

Seems pretty straightforward to me. New license WQNI211 which was applied for in December and authorized by the FCC in February. License states it's for the police dept, for a repeater on 166.250 with an input of 154.890.
Their other active license, WQDX548, is for a simplex Base/Mobile setup on 155.415, not a repeater.
Looks like they wanted to upgrade to a repeater, and did so.
What else is there to know? Figure out what PL/DPL they're using on the new repeater, then keep listening to 155.415 and see if the usage has changed, i.e. gone from the main dispatch frequency to a car-to-car or tactical frequency. Submit changes to the RR DB so that others can benefit from the info.
