Again ... updated sdr# to the latest version (1811) ... the one that needs .NET 5 x86 runtime. Now it no longer displays the IF and AF processor plugins. Of course, I tried to re-install them... no change... missing from selection. Was nice to have them because I was able to tailor both low and high freq audio limits as well as set notches. Darn. Looking around on the 'net, it seems like this has been an ongoing problem with sdr#.

Wondering if anyone else noticed this in the "update". Oh well... back to good 'ole dependable HDSDR.

You could contact the plugin author to ask if they would be willing to modify their plugin to work with the newer API.
Or ask them if you could take over the source and program it yourself.

Another alternative if you are happy with teh older versions of sdrsharp with which you used those plugins is to go back to using that rather than the .NET5 versions. In my case I use V1700 for some specific tasks whislt keeping an up to date copy for some more general ones where some of the Telerik changes are actually useful.

I guess a third option would be to pay Youssef for the features you want.

There is an online support group, airspy groups.io Group - perhaps the plugins are discussed on there.

Morfis, thanks for taking time to suggest 4 ways of dealing with the above mentioned plugin situation. Of the alternatives you mention, I think the most productive one for me would be researching the airspy group for a possible answer.

I don't feel I'm asking something out of the ordinary for asking a software package to maintain a very basic "tool" as it passes through revisions and updates. To me, it's very basic to an sdr program to be able to adjust the audio/IF passband on both the low and high freq of the passband audio. Unless I'm missing something in the new version of the program, the low end frequency of the audio output cannot be adjusted. That means that you're listening to audio starting from 0hz on both ssb and am. That gets annoying fast as the audio is very "bassey". One needs to be able to set the low end to around 300hz for good communication quality audio for ssb and not full broadcast quality.

Again, perhaps I could be missing something, but so far the new version seems to lack the ability to do this. If I'm wrong I stand corrected. If I'm right, then as you say, I can go back a version or so to regain the ability in the software to tailor the audio.

I do stand corrected. I found out that the functions for tailoring audio/IF have been moved to the ZOOM FFT tab, not on the main dropdown menu as they were previously. Not where I'd think of looking, but that's where they are. Well, hopefully this post helps someone else that was wondering where those functions went. :)

Good to hear you have found what you needed (though it doesn't match what I see).

Back in and checking the main menu selections I see:
Clipboard01.jpg

So where you'd expect them to be....

......also checked Zoom FFT section and they aren't there:

No idea how they could get messed up in yours.

check the boxes enable IF and enable audio. The greyed out Enable Filter will be able to be checked then also. You will see the spectrums I was mentioning.

I tried v1800 and have gone back to v1700 for the most part. In 1800 once, I somehow got plugins inside of other plugins. Meaning to access one, I had to open something unrelated and there were ALL the plugins. I shutdown and restarted and for at least that session was happy it did not remember my settings. I tried the IF and Audio filters as well and it seemed it was dependent on something elsewhere if you could open them or not.
