Hello so I decided to make an account to get some help. I only have one frequency programmed into my SDR with SDRtrunk. But the problem is I can see other frequencies on the county's p25 system. Not just the control channel, I dont want to hear these because they are dispatch for other counties not the one im trying to listen to. I just want to listen to the aliases. Any help? Sorry for this stuff, I just got my sdr early this year. Thanks :)

For sure, hop over to the Playlist editor, Aliases, and you'll see where you can turn off the talkgroup with the Listen switch, flick it over to mute the talkgroup. You can also set priority for individual talkgroups

I mean these ones, I dont have them selected but I can still hear them

Those are voice channels, that is how a trunked system works. The control channel moves the scanner/sdr/radio to the proper voice channel with traffic. You can't prevent them, but depending on the software you are using you can lockout talkgroups heard on those channels. Share the software you are using and we might be able to help you do that. But without the control channels there would be nothing seen/heard except noise of the data stream on the control channel.

You are misunderstanding how a trunking system works. Take a look at this article for trunking Trunking Basics - The RadioReference Wiki
Basically what you need to choose to listen to is the talk group ID. Those talk group IDs will come across on any of those frequencies. The control channel tells the radio what frequency to tune to to listen to the talk group ID. On SDRtrunk you can select in the Alias what talk group IDs you do not want to listen to.

In your Alias screen highlight the talk group you do not want to listen to and turn off the listen slider bar
