Hi,
Sorry as this is probably a bad section, but could any one of you try to help me with this weird sound i have recorded?

Signal comes and goes. Like on attached screen. It seems like some kind of digital emission.

zipped is the recorded sound in mp3 format.

Doesn't sound familiar. Some kind of fairly low-speed AFSK, about 6 kHz wide. Does the frequency 170.4 give any clue? Where (physically) is this being heard? A longer (60 second) and/or baseband recording might help, along with higher resolution spectrum display and longer waterfall. Or someone else will recognize the sound and chime in. :)

Hi, it's in Poland. This frequency does not give me any clue unfortunately.
Cannot record anything longer to be honest as it goes and comes in 1-2sec of signal and a 30 sec of noise/no signal.

I'll try to decode with AFSK software thanks

Definitely sounds like some kind of low-throughput telemetry, often used by utilities like electric power, water, etc. for remote monitoring. I've seen multipsk mentioned a couple times as a general *SK decoder but haven't added it to my tools yet. Spectrum Lab has some stuff in it, too, but I've yet to decode anything successfully with it (you kind of have to know what you're doing and looking at).

You can hear in the file that there is one "master" who polls several other sources of their information and their signal strengths are both stronger and weaker than the "master". It can be anything from water reservoars, greenhouses, electric power transformer stations, wind energy turbins or similar multiple remote units that needs to be fully monitored from a central office.
