I wasn't exactly sure where I should post this query, in Amateur Radio, Washington State or here. Since this has to do with a possible TSR program to use in conjunction with SDRuno, I figured this may be the best place. Anyway to the question...

Is there a third party program that will work with SDRuno that will decode AX.25 (Packet) digital transmissions of either 300 or 1200 baud?

Thanks. I've downloaded it and will check it out and give it a go on Wednesday when I have time. Using one program and not dealing with yet another cable (patch cord) like we had to do in the old days is going to be great.

Honestly, if it'll run under Windows 10, being old is no problem. And since packet is mostly next to dead anyway...

That's why. You have nothing to feed (pipe?) the audio from SDRUno to the AFSK decoder.

Install this.

It wil require a reboot, but when you open SDRuno, you'll have another output device to choose from (like in my pic before). The corresponding input entry should show up in your AFSK app as an input choice. You'll probably have to experiment with the volume in SDRuno, but it should work.

Hmm, my computer only gives me the following option...

THANK YOU! It worked! The only drawback is that I cannot use other audio programs while it's in operation, but so what. I'll use it to monitor when I'm doing other things.

@sunwave and @Spleen thanks guys, it works like a charm. Of course APRS isn't quite my thing, so I will try to find a local packet frequency. The one I used to operate on back in the 90's is dead silent.

Love It!.gif

Glad to have helped a fellow SDRPlay product owner. :)

Multipsk has a few packet modes as well. index

Wow! That Multipsk looks to be more than this old man can take on at the moment. Of course WeFax is something I'd like to try, but probably in a simple single program.
