SDS100/SDS200: SDS100 and DTR700 reception

Love my SDS100 but very frustrated trying to "Close Call" a Motorola DTR700.
NOTHING showing on CC bar graph when DTR is keyed. I know 900 ISM band in use but not seeing anything.
Have not upgraded to DMR or NXDN and do not want to waste $$ if that will not help.

Suggestions?

I thought the DTRs were frequency hooping so you cannot listen to them on a scanner.

You are correct. Also the TX on time is too short for CC to detect.
