sds100 larger battery

I noticed on the uniden website the sds100 doesn't have the larger battery/case, is uniden using an old picture?

I've watched some reviews of the sds100 and the newer videos have the larger battery. Why would uniden use an old picture of the sds100 unless I'm wrong about that being an older version.

Pretty sure Uniden direct doesn't ship units with the expanded battery like Bearcat Warehouse does? Plus the slimmer form factor of the standard battery / cover is generally more appealing to the potential buyer's eye

It's an old picture.

Only the first batch of SDS100s had the smaller battery. Paul (UPMAN) told us that the battery life with the original smaller battery was deemed unacceptable, but obviously that decision was made after the first units were being built. Everyone who bought one from that batch was sent the larger battery and battery cover at no charge.

ALL of the current SDS100s have the larger battery.

Definitely old pics, probably stock photos from the original release. Uniden hasn't shipped any SDS100 scanners with the original small battery since late 2018.
