I’m attempting to setup quick keys on an sds100. I can enter the QK number, I have the list enabled and it gets scanned. HOWEVER, all the lists I have enabled are getting scanned not just the QK that I requested. Does it work that way? I’m going between a local PD (p25) and marine frequencies.

If I understand your question, NO it doesn’t work that way. Quick Keys are an on/off toggle for that favorites list/system/department/site, not a scan this only switch.

Turn the QK off and it should stop scanning that object. Turn all but one off and it should only scan the one left on.

That makes more sense. Just pushed my only favorite list I had selected and it said “nothing to scan.” Thank you!

Number tags are for selecting one single thing to monitor, can be a FL or a system or a frequency working like a Hold function and have to be done when you have stopped scan by a hold. While scanning it is instead called quick keys and selects what to include in scan and what to exclude.

If you only go between a system or department with marine frequencies and a P25 system then make a hold and use the number key feature.
