Have an issue with my SDS100. Noticed it about a month or two ago and now its fairly consistent. My scanner is setup running 24x7 with ProScan. When I reboot my server, I usually make it a thing to reboot the SDS100 via powering it down and back up. (I find the SDS100 and SDS200 if they stay on for more than a week or two they send to behave oddly and rebooting periodically, just like a PC, keeps things working fine). However, when I do this, the SDS100 locks up on boot. It gets to the "Loading..." when loading scan lists, and it usually sticks there for a while then sayings "Nothing to scan", or it does load it and sits there and seems to be stuck on a single scanner and doesn't actually rotate through the list.

The only way to get it to scan properly is by actually pulling the battery out, letting it sit for 10 seconds, and plugging it in and then it works just fine and dandy.

At first glance, it seems like a software corruption issues. I went through, grabbed a new MicroSD card, reloaded from scratch.. same issue.

Anyone have the same issue? And able to fix it without a warranty send in?

I’ve suspected my SDS200 does that from time to time but turning it off and back on corrected it. In my case the scanner did one of two things... it either just sat on a channel or it would appear to be scanning but it wouldn’t stop on a busy channel. Since neither happens very frequently, I’ve ignored it... procrastinating mostly... until it gets to a point where it becomes annoying. Your post causes me concern however. And I welcome the replies your post will bring.

I had a similar problem with my 536HP. It ended up being, as most boot problems are, a SD card issue.
