I read that the SDS200 has Ethernet connectivity for remote streaming and control. Exactly how does work? I'm looking to install a antenna in my attic and mount a scanner in the closet that has access to attic. I'm trying to prevent running cable across the house and drilling holes in the ceiling. All of this is to obtain better reception. I would like control and listen to the radio remotely in another room. Is this possible and how?

Success! Finally was able to write a quick program to connect via UDP to the SDS and send commands all in less than 55k in size now to expand it some. Its great to be able to copy the .exe file from my folder and drop it where ever I want it in win 10 and it just works, kinda like the good ol DOS days! Powerbasic for Windows 10 is super! No MsNet Bloatware to deal with!

Just had laptop on same private network as sds is on, the whole network is on an AC1900 router with no internet visibility unless I connect the internet through my TP Link attached to the router. Now next to work with the FTP side of it.

That is the setup I run Wireless bridge from amazon $20 the y power cable and power the bridge with the scanner power supply or it powers off the scanner USB port.
Wow that really look familiar for some reason..

I got a VoNets 5g bridge to use instead of the 2.4 g bridge. I tried to use the same setup, using the USB A port for power. It appears the 5g bridge uses more power as I noticed it kept turning off and back on. Freaked me out seeing the LAN lights go dark. Plugged the 5 g bridge into a 3 amp power supply and now I don't see any disconnects. Time will tell.....
